Scope of Maritime Import and Export Business

According to the customer's commission, we undertake the full process agency of FOB door-to-door and port to port for import and export, or handle all business before and after import and arrival. Assist clients in preparing various documents; Booking, customs declaration, warehousing, transshipment, container assembly and unpacking, settlement of transportation and miscellaneous fees, customs declaration, inspection, insurance, as well as related inland transportation services and transportation consulting services.


■ Ocean freight import operation process

The consignee prepares the import documents → exchanges them → applies for inspection → declares customs → handles the equipment handover form → picks up the container → picks up the goods

Specific operations:

1、 Import documents

1. The consignee shall provide the freight forwarder with a complete set of import documents; The freight forwarder shall investigate which shipping company is responsible for the transportation of this cargo, which shipping agent is responsible for the operation, and where the bill of lading (bill of lading) can be exchanged.

2. Import documents include: original bill of lading or electronic release copy with endorsement, packing list, invoice, contract (general trade).

3. The freight forwarder shall contact the station in advance and confirm the pick-up fee, unloading fee, loading fee, and return air fee.

2、 Change orders

1. The freight forwarder shall confirm the arrival time and location of the vessel with the designated shipping agent or company. If transshipment is required, the name of the second leg vessel must be confirmed.

2. Bring the original bill of lading with endorsement (if the goods are released by telegram, the fax and guarantee of the telegram release can be brought) to the shipping company or agent to exchange for the bill of lading (small bill of lading)

3、 Inspection declaration

The inspection and quarantine bureau confirms whether this shipment needs to undergo commercial inspection based on the regulatory conditions in the "commodity code".

4、 Customs clearance

1. If the consignee has their own customs clearance agency, they can clear customs themselves, or entrust a freight forwarder's customs clearance agency or other competent customs clearance agencies to clear customs

2. Customs declaration documents include: original bill of lading with endorsement/copy of electronic release, packing list, invoice, contract, and small bill of lading

3. The customs shall decide whether technical inspection is required or whether random computer sampling is required based on the situation of imported goods

5、 Handling equipment handover form

1. The freight forwarder shall present the original bill of lading with endorsement (fax and letter of guarantee for electronic release of goods) to the container management department of the shipping company or the freight forwarder to handle the equipment handover form.

2. Equipment Handover Form: It is a certificate for the exchange of containers and other mechanical equipment between container handlers, carriers, and container managers or their agents when containers enter and exit the port area or station, and has the function of issuing container certificates by container managers. It is divided into two types: entry and exit, and the exchange procedures are handled at the entrance of the dock yard.

6、 Carrying a suitcase

1. The freight forwarder shall handle the deposit procedures for import container demurrage fees, unloading fees, import document fees, and other fees at the container management department with the small bill of lading and the trailer company's "container pickup application form".

2. If the payee is not the consignee indicated on the bill of lading, the payee must provide a guarantee letter (guarantee letter) agreeing to make the deposit for the consignee and pay the corresponding fees.

3. After the deposit is completed and authorized by the container management department of the shipping agent, go to the import container release post to handle the container pickup procedures, obtain the container equipment handover form, and verify whether its content is correct.

4. After the consignee unpacks the imported goods, they will return the empty container to the designated return location.

5. After the empty container returns to the designated yard, the consignee should promptly present the deposit voucher to the container management department to handle the settlement procedures for container fees.

7、 Picking up goods

1. The freight forwarder or consignee shall contact a trailer to pick up the goods at the designated dock or station of the shipping agent with a small bill of lading.

2. The depositor shall go to the container management department to handle the container deposit settlement procedures.


■ Precautions for sea freight import operation

1. LCL cargo needs to be signed by the shipping company or agent to obtain a separate bill of lading (bill of lading) for bulk cargo. When picking up the cargo, small bills of lading and separate bills of lading should be used to pick up the cargo at the port.

2. All customs declaration documents must ensure that the information is consistent with each other.

3. Ensure that the import documents are complete and understand in advance the customs requirements for the relevant documents of imported goods.

Loose and miscellaneous transportation

Scope of miscellaneous transportation business

Bulk cargo import: The designated carrier ships stop at the port of shipment and receive delivery from the shipper at the bottom/alongside the ship according to loading and unloading terms. Unload at the destination port and arrange inland transportation to the factory/warehouse.

Bulk cargo export: Arrange vehicles/barges to load goods at inland factories/warehouses and transport them to foreign trade terminals. Collect the goods and arrange for ship side lifting and tying after the carrier ships dock at the port. After the carrier ship leaves the port, it tracks the ship's dynamics in real time and provides the consignee with the shipping schedule information and destination port vessel agent information.

Domestic bulk cargo: acting as an agent for domestic bulk cargo ship transportation, including chartering and booking, inland towing, and door-to-door delivery services.

■ Bulk grocery operation process

1. Receiving orders

The principal and the agency engage in chartering business and establish charter terms based on the unloading capacity of the unloading port.

2. Provide booking information

The principal shall provide the port of shipment and discharge, the name, quantity, and total volume of the goods, loading and unloading rates, the waterline at the loading and unloading ports, the earliest time the goods are ready, transportation terms, and whether the trade contract has been signed.

3. Provide customs declaration information

After identifying the transportation agency and customs declaration agreement with the client and agency company, the client shall notify the user in advance of the required complete set of customs declaration documents and photocopies based on the arrival time of the ship at the unloading port.

4. Bulk cargo loading and unloading

According to the notification from the agency, arrange the work of cargo collection, loading, and unloading at the port reasonably.

5. Documents provided

Inspection authorization letter, inspection form, contract, invoice, foreign water gauge weight certificate, quality certificate.

6. Payment

Settle the relevant fees according to the agreed time in the agreement.

7. Goods tracking

Provide relevant shipping information for the client to query and keep track of ship dynamics.


■ Precautions for handling loose and miscellaneous items

1. Export tariffs are imposed on the product according to the customs commodity tariff regulations.

2. The time limit for import customs declaration shall be 14 days from the date of declaration of the transportation vehicle for entry. If the customs certificate exceeds the deadline, a late declaration fee shall be charged. If the tax is not paid within 14 days of the tax invoice, the customs shall impose a late payment fee.

3. The legally paid fees include customs duties, value-added tax, and inspection fees.

4. Providing as much detailed information as possible is very helpful in finding the most suitable vessel.
